We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our specialist clinic, providing high-energy, engaging, and uplifting therapy to international clients. As a key member of our team, you will work with infants, toddlers, children, and adolescents who have cerebral palsy, developing, enhancing, or restoring functional skills to improve their daily lives.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, diagnose, and treat pediatric motor and sensory impairments, documenting deficits and developing treatment plans.
- Evaluate physical conditions, adapt environments for improved function, and train patients/caregivers in using assistive and mobility devices.
- Apply various practice frameworks and therapy techniques, maintaining accurate documentation and writing evaluation and progress reports.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, build rapport with clients, and manage schedules productively.
- Contribute to clinical practice development, following professional, legal, and ethical guidelines, and engaging in ongoing professional development.
- HCPC registration
- Experience working with young people who have cerebral palsy
- Lift, push, or pull up to and including 22 KG with hands and wrists as therapeutic handling is manually intensive
