Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to join our team at VA Technology Ltd. As an Automotive Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of electrical panel wirers and fitters in the manufacture of investment castings systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide hands-on management and motivation to a team of electrical panel wirers and fitters.
  • Take ownership of projects and tasks, ensuring timely completion and delivery of high-quality results.
  • Plan and coordinate work for various projects, providing guidance and direction to team members.
  • Report project progress to the Manufacturing Manager on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Adopt a culture of continuous improvement, challenging and improving systems on a month-by-month, project-by-project basis.
  • Ensure the health and safety of team members, including the use of personal protective equipment and adherence to company risk assessments.
  • Be involved in personnel management, including mentoring, performance measurement, and the disciplinary process.
  • Operate within company procedures and protocols.
Requirements
  • At least three years' experience in a supervisory or responsible role, preferably within an automation or equipment manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in a hands-on electrical fitting role.
  • Hands-on experience of delivering projects to time scales and problem-solving in a fast-moving environment.
Qualifications
  • Technically qualified to HNC or equivalent in an Electrical discipline.

Working Conditions
