Job Description

Aligra Personnel Ltd is seeking a reliable and skilled HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team in a parcel delivery and courier service. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe transportation of goods and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct pre-trip vehicle checks to ensure the vehicle is safe to use
  • Unload vehicles at point of delivery
  • Drive in a safe and responsible manner on behalf of the client
  • Follow driver working time directive at all times
  • Complete delivery runs from depot to depot
Requirements:
  • Hold Full UK Digi Cards
  • Have valid CPC
  • Good knowledge of working time directive
  • Maximum of 6 points on your licence
  • Good communication skills
Working Conditions:
  • 4 days on, 3 days off shift pattern
  • 23:59 start time
  • Night shifts
  • 10 hours per shift
Pay and Benefits:
  • £17.50 per hour
