Solution Architect Opportunity

Whitehall Resources is seeking a skilled Solution Architect to join their team on a hybrid basis in Bedfordshire for a 6-month contract. This is a unique opportunity to lead the solution architecture definition for complex end-to-end solutions, working with functional consultants, technical architects, and Enterprise Architects.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage solution ideation, design, and implementation activities.
  • Review business context for solutions to company challenges and design solutions to realise the vision and requirements.
  • Communicate architecture to stakeholders and collaborate with domain architects to formalize and adopt IT standards and procedures.
  • Champion a structured approach to business application solutions.
  • Assist in developing a solutions architecture program, including departmental roadmaps and project portfolios for IT systems architecture.
  • Ensure solutions align with technology standards and guidelines.
  • Influence changes to standards when necessary.
  • Support domain architecture team on solutions management and timing of financial spend for application solutions.
  • Direct the identification and recommendation of appropriate solutions, upgrades, replacements, or decommissioning options.
  • Provide analysis of security protection technologies as necessary.
Key Skills:
  • Proven experience in solutioning with Customer Management platforms, Customer engagement platforms, CIAM platforms, and Consent Management platforms.
  • Architecture and technology knowledge in Aviation Commercial domains, including GDS and PSS systems.
  • Cloud native solutions architecture experience, preferably on AWS.
  • Ability to quickly gain control and run solution design within a client's transformation programme.
  • Understanding of Architecture Review Board and Technical Design Assurance process.
