Job Title: Special Needs Learning Support Assistant

PK Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Needs Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a SEND school in Nuneaton.

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly motivated and compassionate individual to support students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a specialist ASD provision. The successful candidate will work closely with the teaching staff to provide individualized support and create a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with SEND in a 1:1 or small group setting, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Manage student behavior and provide strategies to promote positive behavior.
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement individualized education plans.
Requirements:
  • Qualification to degree level or relevant experience working with students with SEND.
  • Experience working with small or large groups of students.
  • Availability to work at least 3 days a week (full-time preferable).
  • Flexibility to work at short notice.
