Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant

Location: Warrington

Pay: £80 – £90 per day

Connex Education is working with a KS5 setting who are looking for SEND staff to work within their specialist provision. They are seeking suitably qualified and experienced staff who have UK-based experience working with children with a range of SEN needs, including Severe Learning Needs.

This is an excellent opportunity for those who have previously worked in Supported Living or as a Residential worker. The successful candidate will support students with their educational journey and provide a safe space for all students to reach their full potential. Some students will require assistance with eating, be non-verbal, and need intimate care.

Assignment Details

This SEND Teaching Assistant role is due to start as soon as possible.

Person Specification

  • Have experience of supporting pupils with Special Needs, either in a UK school or a similar UK-based setting
  • You must have a current enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to provide a new one
  • Level 2 or 3 in a relevant childcare subject would be an advantage
