Position Overview:
As a dedicated Pediatric Audiologist, you will play a crucial role in assessing and managing hearing health for children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments utilizing both behavioral and objective testing methods.
- Develop tailored care plans for children, addressing both routine cases and those with more complex needs.
- Prepare clear and concise reports to effectively communicate assessment results to referring professionals and other stakeholders involved in the child's care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive care planning.
- Engage with children, young individuals, and their families to facilitate understanding and support regarding hearing loss.
- Organize and prioritize administrative tasks to manage your workload efficiently.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure the effective operation of audiology clinics.
- Contribute to the advancement of services within the Children's Community Audiology Service team.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
The successful candidate will possess a BSc in Audiology and be registered with either RCCP or HCPC. Experience in pediatric audiology is essential.
As this role involves community outreach, a valid driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes are preferred.
