Job Title: Data Product Owner - Operational

At Frasers Group, we're reimagining retail through digital innovation and unique store experiences. As a leader in the industry, we're elevating the retail experience for our consumers through our collection of established brands, including Sports Direct, FLANNELS, USC, Frasers, and GAME.

We're seeking a skilled Data Product Owner to oversee the lifecycle of our data products, ensuring their optimal performance and alignment with business objectives. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product vision, strategy, and requirements while managing operational processes and ensuring data integrity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and communicate a clear vision and strategy for data products, aligning with business goals and market needs.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of data products, including data ingestion, processing, and quality assurance.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across all data products.
  • Monitor product performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Work closely with engineering, data science, and business teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment of data products.
  • Ensure data products comply with industry standards, regulations, and security protocols.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a data-focussed Business Analyst, Product Owner, or a related role.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proficient in analysing complex data sets and translating insights into actionable product features.
  • Experience with KPIs and OKRs: Able to set and drive clear KPIs and OKRs within a complex technology and data landscape.
  • High technical acumen and the ability to communicate well with the Business, Architecture and Engineering.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and deliver results.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools.
  • High attention to detail, ensuring precision and accuracy in all aspects of data product management.
