What We Are Seeking
Our dedicated design team is in search of a Senior Mechanical Engineer to enhance our operations due to ongoing project successes and client partnerships. In this pivotal role, you will manage various project phases from initial planning and detailed design to execution, ensuring adherence to client requirements and current regulatory frameworks, with a strong emphasis on sustainable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design components of projects from conception to execution.
- Guarantee compliance with client specifications and applicable regulatory standards.
- Generate design deliverables.
- Conduct thorough checking and approval processes.
- Coordinate the procurement of necessary goods and services.
- Prepare estimates and quotations for work scopes.
- Compile documentation for contract works information.
- Address project health, safety, quality, and environmental considerations.
- Engage with all key stakeholders involved in the projects.
- Implement project change control and scheduling requirements.
- Assume responsibility as the Design Lead for assigned projects.
Qualifications Required:
- Degree/HND/HNC in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Familiarity with British and European design standards.
- A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience as a Mechanical Engineer in both design and construction settings within the Water or related Process Industry.
