As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in the Global Product HVAC.R team, reporting directly to the Regional Senior Sales Director. Your primary mission will be to drive business development strategies for Johnson Controls' HVAC-R Global Products, contributing to the creation of smarter, more sustainable communities.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development and execution of go-to-market strategies across the region, facilitating communication and the sharing of best practices to ensure a cohesive approach
Spearhead business development initiatives and long-range planning efforts aimed at delivering consistent sales revenue growth
Identify key requirements and prioritize initiatives to aid in the development of products, programs, and support tools
Collaborate with the HVAC-R leadership team to organize and build a high-performing team that meets business objectives for key markets
Monitor and support market sales performance against established benchmarks, ensuring a consistent approach across all commercial teams and assisting in the development of process and productivity measurements
Participate in strategic and business reviews, critical opportunity evaluations, and executive-level meetings, serving as a permanent team member on strategic programs and contributing to high-level growth strategies
Leverage data to provide insightful analysis that informs strategic decisions
5+ years of experience in Business Development or a related Analyst role
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, or Marketing; a master's degree is preferred
Proven ability to lead strategic programs from development through to implementation
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and manage competing requests
Exceptional ability to collaborate effectively with teams, demonstrating excellent communication, planning, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
Deep understanding of HVAC.R refrigeration and heat pump technologies
Superior business writing, critical thinking, and presentation skills
Exceptional collaboration, negotiation, and relationship-building skills across all organizational levels, both internally and externally
