We are seeking an experienced Academic Mentor to join our dynamic English department at Protocol Education. As an integral part of our team, you will work closely with students who require additional support in small group or one-on-one settings, aged 11-16 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide academic support to students in need, helping them progress academically and overcome setbacks caused by the Covid pandemic.
  • Work collaboratively with students, teachers, and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment.
  • Develop and implement tailored support plans to meet the individual needs of students.
  • Contribute to the development of departmental resources and materials to enhance student learning.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and training for this role.
  • Experience working with students aged 11-16 years, preferably in a school-based setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
