Job Overview:

Ferrero is a leading global confectionery company with a rich history and a commitment to quality and care. We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Statutory Specialist to join our team and support our financial operations.

Main Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Statutory Supervisor with critical month-end and year-end closings, ensuring seamless and accurate financial reporting. This will involve managing statutory accounts and Group reporting, contributing to the financial integrity of our company.

The role will also involve assisting with daily tasks according to the Group month-end calendar, ensuring all financial activities are completed on schedule. This includes posting journals and performing general ledger account reconciliations to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

The Financial Statutory Specialist will also conduct monthly intercompany reconciliations, collaborating closely with the Shared Services team and other Group entities' admin teams to resolve discrepancies. Additionally, they will support during external interim audits, preparing audit documentation as requested, contribute to process improvements, and perform ad hoc analysis as needed.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience with Hyperion Financial Management, as well as being part-qualified ACCA/CIMA or actively studying towards it. Strong IFRS knowledge and experience in preparing financial statements under FRS101 are essential.

Proficiency in SAP and advanced Microsoft Office skills are required. The successful candidate will be collaborative, proactive, and able to work effectively across teams, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Requirements:
  • Prior experience with Hyperion Financial Management
  • Part-qualified ACCA/CIMA or actively studying towards it
  • Strong IFRS knowledge and experience in preparing financial statements under FRS101
  • Proficiency in SAP and advanced Microsoft Office skills
