Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a diverse range of ultrasound assessments for emergency departments, inpatients, outpatients, and general practitioners.
  • Concentrate on specialties such as urology, pediatric hips, musculoskeletal, vascular, gynecological, and soft tissue imaging.
  • Deliver ultrasound services for outpatient care, including Stroke and Same Day Care programs.

The ideal candidate will possess substantial expertise in Non-Obstetric ultrasound practices. Please note that this position does not encompass Obstetric ultrasound. You will also play a role in mentoring student Sonographers and aiding in the advancement of our services.

Essential qualifications include a Postgraduate Diploma in Ultrasound, HCPC registration, and the capability to travel between different locations.

Job Requirements:

Training & Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Medical Ultrasound or equivalent.
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Diagnostic Ultrasound.
  • MSc qualification is an advantage.

Experience:

  • Comprehensive clinical knowledge in ultrasound scanning methodologies.
  • Experience in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Prior involvement in research initiatives is a plus.

Skills:

  • Proficient in planning and coordinating activities within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience in conducting audits is beneficial.
