We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Veolia ES (UK) LIMITED. As an Electrical Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting the Maintenance Supervisor in completing an efficient maintenance function in Electrical, Instrument, Control & Automation Maintenance while adhering to all relevant legislation and site procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist and support the Maintenance Supervisor in completing an efficient maintenance function in Electrical, Instrument, Control & Automation Maintenance.
  • Comply with the company's Quality and Environmental Management System and Health and Safety Policies.
  • Review plant defects, diagnose and remedy plant defects, develop proposals for modifications where appropriate, to maintain plant reliability and availability.
  • Maintain the workshop and other work areas in a clean, tidy, and safe condition.
  • Carry out planned and breakdown maintenance on a variety of plant and apparatus including High/Medium/Low Voltage equipment, 415V motors, variable speed drives, switchgear, large rotating equipment, boiler, and steam plant and auxiliaries, material handling equipment, crane equipment, abatement equipment and plant auxiliaries etc.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of current H&S regulations.
  • CDM 17th edition, Pressure parts and electrical system regulations.
  • Experience of utilising a planned maintenance system.
  • The ability to understand maintenance problems to provide accurate plant condition information / recommendations.
