Position Overview

Key Responsibilities:

AECOM seeks a knowledgeable Senior Water Resources Scientist / Hydrologist to enhance our dynamic Water Environment team. This multidisciplinary group specializes in various areas, including hydrology, hydro-ecology, geomorphology, and water quality, comprising a robust network of surface water experts and hydrogeologists. Our clientele spans public and private sectors, and we engage in significant projects that shape the future of water management.

Highlighted projects include:
  • Creating comprehensive river restoration strategies for water utilities
  • Conducting hydrological assessments and water balance analyses for diverse applications
  • Designing and implementing Natural Flood Management (NFM) strategies
  • Developing modeling frameworks for water level management at designated sites
  • Producing guidelines for safe aquatic passage at infrastructure
  • Leading initiatives for fish passage and river rehabilitation
  • Enhancing river health through targeted catchment improvements
Your Role and Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will ensure exceptional project execution, leveraging specialized knowledge to address business challenges. Responsibilities include:

Our work primarily focuses on fluvial environments, with significant involvement in estuarine, lacustrine, and marine ecosystems.

Qualifications:

Essential Requirements:
