Job Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Physiotherapy Technical Instructor post at a community hospital.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, positive, and motivated individual who has the skills and ability to engage well with patients and work both independently and as part of a team.
Relevant evidence of experience in rehabilitation is desired. You would carry your own caseload of patients with supervision and support from qualified therapists.
You will also have experience of using highly skilled handling techniques to facilitate patient movement, and/or rehabilitation, implementing exercise and rehabilitation programmes. You will work with others in the team in the treatment of patients.
To apply, you should have a NVQ level or equivalent plus relevant experience working in a therapy department in a physical healthcare setting.
Main Duties of the Job
- To assist the qualified physiotherapist in the overall physiotherapy management of patients in collaboration with carers, support workers, health staff, and agencies.
- Under the direction and guidance of the qualified physiotherapist, to manage and be responsible for their own clinical caseload of clients, following therapeutic programmes in order to improve their physical abilities and to minimise disabilities.
- To work independently using own initiative, within level of competence.
