Key Responsibilities:
The Production Supervisor will play a crucial role in identifying and resolving operational challenges, planning tasks, and implementing effective solutions. You will guide your team in enhancing performance and productivity while reporting directly to the Production Manager regarding team achievements.
General Duties Include:
- Leading a team of operators to meet quality, service, and cost targets.
- Coordinating and participating in the maintenance of warehouse and yard cleanliness.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies regarding employee treatment.
- Managing production and personnel with a strong focus on safety and quality.
- Engaging with customers to address their needs effectively.
- Creating work schedules based on priorities and available resources.
- Fostering a strong team culture through effective communication and leadership.
- Driving initiatives for production and quality improvements aligned with Lean/Sigma principles.
- Monitoring department KPIs and spearheading improvement efforts.
- Participating in recruitment and managing training in collaboration with HR.
- Facilitating cost-saving initiatives.
- Conducting employee evaluations and enforcing company policies.
- Ensuring accuracy and high-quality standards in all work.
- Completing necessary training and certifications as required.
- Performing other relevant duties as assigned.
- Possibility of transitioning within Wisetek Operations.
Essential Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A flexible and proactive individual capable of taking initiative.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proven ability to lead teams and maintain operational efficiency.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Prior experience in team management.
