About The Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Hospital Porter to join our team at the Birmingham Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transporting patient beds and trollies to relevant areas
  • Working closely with the sterile services department to collect and deliver instruments for use in Theatres
  • Distributing deliveries to relevant departments
  • Removing packaging to the Waste Compound and maintaining a tidy hospital environment
  • Manual handling and porter duties throughout the hospital

  • Able to work at a fast pace and as part of a team
  • Ability to organise work and use own initiative
  • Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
