Teaching Assistant Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at EdEx - Education Recruitment. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our students, working closely with our experienced teaching staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students in their academic and personal development, working closely with teachers to deliver targeted interventions and small group sessions.
  • Assist with the planning and delivery of creative and engaging lessons, incorporating a range of teaching methods and resources.
  • Provide individualized support to students with mild Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autism, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, and ADHD.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture, promoting social and emotional well-being among students and staff.

Requirements:

  • Recent graduate with a passion for education and a desire to support students in their learning journey.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meeting the needs of students and staff.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and training, with a desire to enhance teaching and learning practices.
