Catering Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Catering Assistant to join our team at beBee Professionals in Shrewsbury, UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the kitchen team in preparing and serving high-quality food to customers in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen and dining area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Ensure all food items are stored correctly and efficiently.
  • Operate kitchen equipment, including dishwashers and ovens, with precision and care.
  • Assist with stock control, restocking supplies as needed, and managing food waste and recycling.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to achieve exceptional food service standards.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a catering or kitchen environment is highly desirable.
  • Basic food hygiene knowledge, with a Food Hygiene Certificate being a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends, with a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
