Isolation Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Isolation Coordinator to join our team at Tarmac Trading Limited. As an Isolation Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring contractor isolations meet business standards and drive value in other areas.

• Reporting directly to the Grinding, Dispatches & Inspections Coordinator, you will cover cross-functional, multi-disciplined isolations of contractors.
• Ensuring all Tarmac and CRH safety standards are always understood and complied with.
• Attending and contributing to all safety meetings, site walk-a-rounds, plant cleaning days, inspections, and safety standdowns.
• Ensuring personal and team safety targets are delivered.
• Developing and controlling the isolation process for all contractors attending site.
• Working cross-functionally to arrange isolation requirements and communicate to the wider cross-functional team.
• Being the blaster champion for the site to ensure full visibility of operational performance and SAP work orders are raised and scheduled.
• Attending the pre-schedule meeting to plan the work required.
• Driving and developing the isolation committee and the review process for both simple and complex isolations.
• Identifying and driving improvements of the onsite isolation points.
• Supporting and contributing to the permit process during shutdown periods.
• Attending and contributing to daily and weekly meetings.
• Supervising teams of contractors.
• Controlling and maintaining isolation equipment and stock levels.
• Attending daily performance meetings to identify any defective operational conditions (mechanical) that may affect production performance and feedback on raised defects status and monitoring results.
• Supporting and actively contributing to plant failure and RCA investigations.

• Essential IT literacy, particularly SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
• NEBOSH and/or IOSH Managing Safely would prove beneficial.
• Knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
• Strong problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills.
• Sound knowledge of the isolation process.
