About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Settlements Analyst to join our Trading Operations Department. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing a world-class settlements service to our business.

The successful candidate will have experience in Settlement/Invoicing processes for Energy Trades and related products, as well as a working knowledge of trading systems, preferably ENDUR. You will be responsible for working closely with Front Office representatives and supporting and initiating improvements to the trading systems and workflow processes within Settlements, Finance and across FO to Settlements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Front Office operation plan, understand new products and implement them into the settlements team, ensuring DLC is followed, and controls are in place.
  • Train the settlement analysts on these new products so that they become part of the BAU process.
  • Liaison with various teams within the organisation from Risk Management, Legal, IT, Finance, Treasury and Credit teams to ensure integrity of data within the trading system to accurate reporting within defined timescales.
  • Supporting the trading desk in counterparty relationships and in ensuring quality information flows across the business and taking action to resolve any disputes.
