Class 1 Driver Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Class 1 Driver to join our team at People Solutions. As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for operating and driving various class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strap loads safely to ensure secure transportation
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
  • Maintain accurate records of shipment, mileage, and fuel consumption
Requirements:
  • Valid UK C+E Licence (CLASS 1)
  • Up-to-date UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card
  • Minimum 2 years' experience driving C+E vehicles
  • No more than 6 penalty points and no major endorsement codes
  • Good level of English language skills
  • Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Flexibility and availability to work overtime
