About the Role:

TXM Recruit Ltd is seeking a skilled Mechanical and Electrical Engineer to join our team in the Southall area. As a Mechanical and Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (H&V) plant, including pumps, motors, and actuators. You will also be responsible for maintaining commercial kitchen plant and equipment, carrying out works on low-voltage electrical installations, and undertaking scheduled installations and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operation and Maintenance: Ensure the smooth operation of H&V plant, including pumps, motors, and actuators.
  2. Commercial Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain commercial kitchen plant and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  3. Electrical Installations: Carry out works on low-voltage electrical installations, including installation, fault finding, and general maintenance.
  4. Scheduled Installations and Maintenance: Undertake scheduled installations and maintenance on H&V plant and electrical installations.
  5. Stock and Supply Management: Manage stock and supplies of equipment, source materials from local suppliers and manufacturers.
  6. Contractor Oversight: Oversee contractors and ensure that work is completed to a high standard.
  7. Health and Safety: Adhere to all company policies and procedures, particularly regarding health and safety.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: BEng or level 2 diploma in mechanical, production, or electrical engineering.
