A remarkable position has emerged for a Greenspace Operations Coordinator to become part of our committed Environmental Services Division. This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality greenspace services across the community, with a focus on the upkeep, administration, and improvement of greenspaces in diverse areas.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Exhibit a proactive and positive approach to all tasks
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of greenspace initiatives
  • Engage in a variety of activities throughout the community to support the management and execution of extensive greenspace services
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to identify, strategize, and implement enhancements to greenspaces
  • Participate in site meetings, conduct assessments, and engage with a wide range of clients, including residents, educational institutions, contractors, and community organizations
  • Possess the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively, effectively prioritize responsibilities, and take ownership of individual tasks
  • Communicate proficiently through both verbal and written channels with clients, contractors, and essential stakeholders
  • Contribute to the management and oversight of services and contracts, including the use and updating of relevant IT and financial systems
Job Requirements:
  • A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are essential
  • Completion of basic clearance by the Disclosure and Barring Service is mandatory
