About the Role

IDEX Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Actuarial Analyst to join our GMP Equalisation team. Our client has a unique approach to solving complex problems related to GMP, and we are looking for a technically minded individual to join their friendly and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with and understand member data to assist clients in equalising pensions for their scheme members.
  • Review complex calculations and provide written advice to clients on this topic.
  • Communicate results to client teams and support them as you work through projects together.
  • Regularly liaise and communicate with the GMP team, client team, and other departments within XPS.
  • Opportunity to get involved in specialist research and development teams in areas of interest.
  • Train and manage more junior colleagues as they embark on their actuarial career.

Requirements

  • A keen interest in actuarial concepts, the wider pensions industry, and financial landscape.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
