Financial Analyst Job Description

WEX Europe is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join our FP&A team in Manchester. This role offers a competitive salary, hybrid work arrangement, and a range of benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver monthly and quarterly reporting packs for international travel, aligning with corporate deliverables.
  • Provide monthly financial projections and tracking of all opportunities and risks.
  • Prepare monthly OPEX reports to cost centre owners.
  • Support finance leadership in analysis and modelling for budgets and forecasts across P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flows.
  • Calculate sales commissions for accrual and payment.
  • Take lead role in preparation of OPEX budgets and forecasts.
  • Manage the budget and forecast process for all headcount across the international travel business.
  • Ensure all financial systems are updated in accordance with group deliverables.
Requirements:
  • Newly qualified with an appropriate accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or a finalist working towards an appropriate accounting qualification.
  • 3+ years experience in an FP&A role.
  • Curious and analytical mindset.
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Able to prioritise work and hit deadlines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with an attention to detail.
  • Advanced Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, etc.).
  • Experience of analytic tools such as UI Path and Alteryx preferred.
