Manufacturing Engineer - Undergraduate Placement 2025

Job Summary: We are seeking an undergraduate student to join our Manufacturing Engineering team as a placement student. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to apply their university learning to real-world engineering projects and technologies.

About the Role: As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will work closely with our design team to influence the producibility of designs. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Cost of manufacture of our products
  • Industrial validations of our production lines and suppliers
  • Day-to-day support of our operators building our products
  • Architecture of the production lines
  • Developing new manufacturing processes

What We're Looking For: We are looking for a student studying towards a degree in Physics, Maths, or various Engineering degrees. You should have an engineering mind-set, with the ability to take technical information and turn it into something that can be used in building our products. Previous use of tools such as Simul8, MRP tools (SAP), Engineering Drawing tools (Creo), and Configuration Control would be an advantage.

What We Can Offer: We offer a 10-month undergraduate placement starting September 2025, with fantastic site facilities, including subsidised meals and free car parking. You will have the opportunity to work on real-world engineering projects and technologies, and will receive training in the use of tools as necessary.
