We are seeking a qualified Childcare Lawyer to join our team at the London Borough of Lewisham. The successful candidate will have experience in Childcare Law, preferably from a local authority setting, and will be able to work on a hybrid basis.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deputise for Senior Social Care Lawyers
  • Handle a demanding caseload of child protection cases, with the opportunity to undertake advocacy in the Central Family Court
  • Advise Social Services clients on relevant legislation
  • Prepare legal documentation and court documents
  • Attend meetings with clients and external parties
  • Carry out legal research
