About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Page Group. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in the financial management of our housing refurbishment projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage construction project costs and ensure optimum use of resources to maximize value for money.
- Prepare contracts and tenders in line with company policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and best practices at all times.
- Conduct feasibility studies to estimate materials, time, and labor costs, and provide recommendations for project optimization.
- Track changes in design, construction work, and adjust budget projections accordingly to ensure project delivery on time.
- Provide expert advice on contract claims and disputes, and negotiate with clients and subcontractors as needed.
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other professional staff to ensure seamless project execution.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, with a strong background in social housing and refurbishment projects.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- A proactive approach with a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
