Mechanical Fitter

Reliable Contractors LTD is seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team on a long-term project in the Birmingham area. As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for performing mechanical fitting activities associated with the dismantling, inspection, repair, and overhaul of equipment. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Dismantling and inspecting received equipment to assess its condition and report on any findings.
* Working with hydraulic systems and liaising with supervisors and managers to propose repairs and refurbishment processes.
* Carrying out mechanical fitting activities with flexibility and integrity, working efficiently to achieve on-time targets of excellent quality.
To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a trade qualification, such as a Time Served L3 NVQ or equivalent, and possess a CSCS CARD or ACE CARD. You must also be eligible to work in the UK and have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role. We offer a competitive salary of £30.85 PAYE, overtime pay, and a range of benefits including a lodge allowance, free PPE, and pension.
