About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and friendly individual to join our team as a Food Service Assistant. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our food and beverage outlets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages to students, visitors, and guests
  • Operate throughout our busy outlets, ranging from bespoke coffee shops to food courts
  • Food handling and preparation
  • Setting up counters and cleaning all areas front and back of house
  • Restocking items and stock rotation
  • Operating the till and cash handling
  • General cleaning of front and back of house
  • Sweeping/Mopping and general housekeeping to ensure areas are cleaned to a high standard at all times
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar hospitality role is desirable but not essential as full training will be given
  • Friendly, polite, and motivated
  • Ability to work in all areas of the business if required
  • A DBS check is required
