- Collaborate with the Production Manager to optimize production plans, maximizing labor and equipment usage based on customer needs.
- Act as the first point of contact for relevant departments, providing support in resolving production-related queries.
- Regularly liaise with the production team to identify and communicate any risks to the schedule as early as possible.
- Present detailed information on forecasted plans, highlighting trends or problem areas to improve production efficiency.
- Monitor and maintain material supply levels to meet production requirements.
- Ensure that relevant areas have a prioritized daily workload.
- Work closely with engineering and quality departments to address concerns proactively and promptly.
- Proven experience in a planning or production support role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively with different departments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, to manage and present production data.
- A proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks to production schedules.
- Previous experience in a regulated industry such as aerospace, automotive, or medical manufacturing.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and production scheduling tools.
- Experience working closely with engineering and quality assurance teams to resolve production challenges.
- Competitive salary ranging from £28,000 to £35,000, based on experience and qualifications.
