Management Accountant Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving the financial success of our client's business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce end-to-end monthly management accounts, including group consolidation.
  • Partner with department heads to set and monitor KPIs, and proactively investigate variances.
  • Support the production of the Group's financial reporting, including Statutory Accounts (FRS 102).
  • Assist with budget preparation and quarterly reforecasts.
  • Manage VAT returns, oversee stock counts, and handle sales to cash reconciliation processes.
  • Own and manage the Company fixed asset register.
  • Assist with Accounts Payable management.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years' work experience in a finance team.
  • Competency with double entry book-keeping and understanding of the three financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow).
  • Experience running a full month-end process end-to-end, including Group consolidated accounts.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and comfortable using formulas such as VLOOKUPS, SUMIFS, pivot tables.
  • Working towards (or already have) a finance qualification such as AAT, CIMA, ACCA.
