Clinical Research Physician in Cardiorespiratory Studies

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Research Physician to join our innovative research team focused on cardiac and respiratory health. This role is integral to our Clinical Research Facility, where you will engage with both in-patients and outpatients in a variety of clinical trials.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Facilitate the recruitment and enrollment of eligible participants for clinical trials, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct thorough medical assessments and provide oversight for studies conducted within the facility.
- Review and report on adverse events, contributing to the safety documentation for assigned trials.
- Collaborate closely with the facility's leadership, nursing staff, and principal investigators to ensure the smooth operation of clinical studies.
- Participate in training programs to maintain certification in Good Clinical Practice and advanced life support.
Role Expectations
As a Clinical Research Physician, you will:
- Support the execution of clinical studies in various therapeutic areas, including advanced therapies.
- Work alongside experienced researchers to implement trials involving patients and healthy volunteers.
- Assist in the development of risk assessment strategies for early-phase studies.
- Provide medical cover as needed, including outside of standard working hours.
- Ensure that all clinical activities adhere to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Qualifications
Essential:
- MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
- Demonstrated clinical competencies and a commitment to maintaining high standards of medical practice.
Desirable:
- MRCP or equivalent.
- Experience in respiratory medicine.
