Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

The role involves working as a General Practitioner for 4-6 sessions per week, encompassing both clinical and administrative responsibilities. Appointments will be conducted either in person or via telephone consultations.

About Our Practice

Our practice caters to over 5000 patients, with a steadfast commitment to providing exceptional healthcare services. Our team comprises one partner, one salaried GP, and an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, supported by a nurse, a healthcare assistant, a physiotherapist, two clinical pharmacists, and an administrative team. We are also a training facility for Foundation Year 2 and Specialty Training Year 3 doctors. Our recent quality inspection yielded positive results, and we consistently achieve high standards in our quality outcomes framework.

Job Duties

The sessions will be structured to include patient appointments and administrative tasks. Each session will consist of 12 ten-minute consultations, along with an hour allocated for administrative duties such as reviewing test results, processing clinical correspondence, and handling general administrative tasks, including sick notes and blood forms. The new General Practitioner will be expected to participate in regular practice meetings.
