ROLE OVERVIEW: We are seeking a highly skilled individual to take on the role of Director of Communications and Engagement. This position is essential for leading our communications, public relations, and engagement strategies.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: A minimum of three years in a senior communications, PR, or engagement leadership role is essential. A proven track record in managing teams and executing multiple communication initiatives is required. Candidates should possess a Master's degree or equivalent experience. Experience in healthcare or agency settings is preferred.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide leadership and guidance to the communications team.
- Manage and oversee the delivery of high-quality communication and engagement services.
- Develop and implement strategic communication plans with measurable objectives.
- Engage with clients to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction.
- Lead crisis communication and media relations efforts.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to enhance team capabilities.
- Identify opportunities for business development and enhance brand reputation.
CORE DUTIES:
- Deputize for the Managing Director as necessary.
- Lead multiple projects and teams, ensuring effective resource management.
- Ensure compliance with brand identity and communication standards.
- Provide strategic advice to clients and internal teams.
- Draft proposals and tenders to secure new business opportunities.
- Manage events and represent the organization at industry gatherings.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Travel within the UK may be required for client engagements. Business expenses will be reimbursed.
