About the Role

Alecto Recruitment is seeking an experienced Fire and Security Service/Installation Specialist to join our client's team in the South East region. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining various fire and security systems, including intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installing and servicing fire and security systems, including intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems
  • Demonstrating systems to customers and explaining details such as the causes and consequences of false alarms
  • Carrying out corrective and preventative maintenance of fire alarm systems and other security systems
  • Understanding client needs and fulfilling all jobs required
  • Maintaining fire and security systems in line with current standards and customer requirements
  • Responding to demand service calls on all types of fire and security systems
  • Updating documentation, including site schematics and drawings (if applicable)
  • Carrying out annual service visits and responding to incoming faults raised
  • Applying updates and accurate descriptions of works completed via SIMPRO to inform the office of progress
Requirements
  • Experience of front-line customer service is preferred
  • A Full UK Driving Licence is required
  • Flexibility to travel and be part of an on-call rota is essential
  • Ability to pass several background checks, including a credit check, five-year referencing history, and DBS check
