Job Title: FPGA Validation Engineer

Arm is seeking a skilled FPGA Validation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our global Productivity Engineering group, you will play a critical role in delivering and supporting FPGA platforms at Arm.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering on the FPGA prototyping requirements of one or more sophisticated and highly configurable systems, collaborating with local and cross-site teams to achieve verification goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Automation of verification flows and methodologies for deployment to the user community.
  • Development of verification methodologies, test plans, and testbenches.
  • Documentation and support of verification activities.
  • Collaboration with cross-site teams to achieve verification goals.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of hardware verification languages (System Verilog/Verilog) and scripting languages like Python/TCL/Shell.
  • Knowledge of C/C++ programming language for writing test cases.
  • Exposure to all stages of verification: requirement gathering, creation of verification methodology, test plan development, testbench implementation, documentation, and support.
  • Understanding of Arm-based systems, including SoC system architecture and AMBA protocols.
Nice to Have:
  • Low-level programming experience, including C and Assembler.
  • Knowledge of advanced verification techniques, such as assertions and property checking.
  • Knowledge of debugging System and IP-level projects using Verdi or Visualizer.
  • Exposure to FPGA flows with AMD Xilinx, including compilation, debug, performance, and implementation of basic features.
  • Basic understanding of Linux OS and kernels.
