To be successful in this role, you should possess strong mechanical expertise and experience with Class 4 MOT testing. A proficient MOT Specialist is a meticulous professional with a sharp eye for detail and comprehensive knowledge of both mechanical and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receiving and executing work orders efficiently.
• Performing MOT tests in accordance with Ministry regulations.
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical problems effectively.
• Adhering to safety protocols consistently.
• Correcting faults and mechanical malfunctions.
• Upholding health and safety standards at all times.

Qualifications for MOT Specialist/Preparation Technician:

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 certification.
• Prior experience as an MOT tester.
• Thorough understanding of MOT testing standards and processes.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation.
• Technical proficiency in mechanical and electrical systems.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Detail-oriented with a solid understanding of workplace health and safety.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday with one in four Saturdays.

Compensation: Salary is negotiable based on experience.
