Paediatric Nurse Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Paediatric Nurse Manager to join our team at Leaders in Care. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a well-established provider of complex care packages within the community.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing face-to-face support to children and their families, creating personalised care plans, and training and supporting staff with their clinical skills and activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver tailored care plans specific to individual client needs
  • Effectively manage multidisciplinary teams through strong communication and teamwork
  • Provide ongoing monitoring, support, and assessment of client physical and physiological needs
  • Deliver nursing interventions, including medicine management
  • Build and maintain relationships with client families
  • Work closely with community teams, CHC nurses, and CCG commissioners to establish and maintain bespoke packages of care
Requirements
  • RSCN with a minimum of 6 months in the UK and an active NMC PIN
  • Supportive management style with experience of tracheostomy care and ventilators within the last 2 years
  • Advanced communication skills verbally and written to liaise effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Suitable for Band 5 / Band 6 Nurses with evidence of effective leadership and management of HCAs
  • Full UK Driving Licence essential
