About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Home Care Direct. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living tasks, medication administration, and mobility.
  • Assist clients with mental health support needs, including providing emotional support and helping to develop coping strategies.
  • Accompany clients to appointments, social events, and community activities, promoting social interaction and community engagement.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as maintaining client records and communicating with healthcare professionals.
  • Work collaboratively with the client's care team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
Requirements
  • Enhanced DBS disclosure required.
  • Full, valid UK driving licence and own vehicle.
  • Commitment to long-term care for one client in a person-centred way.
  • Willingness to be trained to CQC standards to meet the client's needs.
  • Reliability, non-judgmental attitude, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Compassion, respect, and dignity for clients.
