Position Overview:
As a vital member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for the efficient management of inventory and supplies.

Location:
Portsmouth

Compensation:
£12-13 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that all stock and non-stock items are accurately received, organized, and dispatched to both internal and external clients. Your duties will include:
  1. Receiving Goods: Verifying incoming stock and processing it into our inventory system.
  2. Shipping: Preparing items for dispatch, including packaging and coordinating with courier services.
  3. Inventory Management: Assisting in the kitting of components for production and managing stock levels.
  4. Maintenance: Ensuring the workspace remains organized and efficient.

Qualifications:
We are seeking candidates with prior experience in warehouse operations, preferably within a manufacturing context. The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A proactive approach to identifying areas for improvement.
  • Strong attention to detail to minimize errors and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Experience with inventory management systems.

Physical Requirements:
This position involves manual labor and requires the ability to remain active throughout the workday.

Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Friday: 7:30 AM - 1:00 PM
