Kenneth Brian Associates Limited is seeking a highly skilled and organized professional to fill the role of Accounts Assistant. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar position and reside within commuting distance to our office.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all invoices received are accurately recorded on our financial system, distributed for authorization, and returned with the necessary approvals.
  • Prepare and process sales invoices and receipts in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a spreadsheet for monitoring subcontractor payments on a monthly basis and reconcile these payments accordingly.
  • Manage the debtor's ledger and conduct regular credit control activities at least monthly.
  • Reconcile petty cash on a daily basis and ensure accurate financial records.
  • Process and post staff expenses claims in a prompt and efficient manner.
  • Ensure timely payment of learner support and other student funds, reconcile all funds, and serve as the primary liaison for support funds.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including filing and scheduling appointments.
  • Input purchase orders onto our financial system (currently Sage accounting), print, and dispatch them accordingly.
  • Assist the Finance Manager as needed and perform other necessary accounting duties.

About You:

  • Strong numerical and accuracy skills are essential for this role.
  • Proficiency in modern accounting software is required.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills are necessary for data analysis and record-keeping.
  • You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure are crucial.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
