Welcome to Easington Service Station, a reputable semi-rural MOT Testing facility dedicated to delivering swift and professional automotive services to our valued clientele. Our focus is on daily MOT inspections, vehicle repairs, and comprehensive servicing.
We are seeking a qualified MOT Tester to enhance our workforce on either a part-time or full-time schedule. The ideal applicant will possess a robust mechanical background and demonstrate proficiency in conducting MOT tests, performing repairs, and executing vehicle servicing. This role presents an excellent opportunity for those who are enthusiastic about automotive care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute MOT tests on vehicles in accordance with DVSA regulations
- Detect and document any vehicle malfunctions or concerns
- Carry out necessary repairs or modifications to ensure vehicles adhere to safety standards
- Maintain precise records of tests performed and their outcomes
- Effectively communicate with clients regarding test results and recommendations
Essential Skills:
- Expertise in utilizing both power and hand tools
- Mechanical acumen for servicing and repairing vehicles
- Capability to perform heavy lifting as required
- Meticulous attention to detail and precision in conducting tests, repairs, and servicing
- Strong communication skills for interaction with clients and colleagues

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Compensation: £15.00 per hour
Expected Working Hours: 21 – 40 hours per week
