Job Summary

Quality Service Recruitment is seeking an experienced HGV driver to join our team as a CAT C driver for bin lorry work. As a key member of our waste collection team, you will be responsible for driving a HGV 2 rear steer refuse truck to planned routes daily.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive a HGV 2 rear steer refuse truck to collect general household waste, recycling, and garden waste
  • Work collaboratively with a team of loaders to ensure efficient waste collection
  • Have a proven track record of experience as an HGV driver with a strong work history
  • Be a great team player with excellent communication skills

Requirements

  • HGV Class 2 licence
  • Digi Card and CPC Card
  • Previous rear steer/refuse truck driving experience is an advantage
  • Good knowledge of the local area

What We Offer

  • A competitive hourly rate of £13.96 per hour
  • A minimum of 7 hours per shift, even on short runs
  • A Monday to Friday schedule with start times from 06:00
