Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support our SEN Learning Manager and SENCO with curriculum provision and learning support for targeted pupils at risk of significant underachievement and to support individuals with enhanced needs; specifically but not exclusively supporting pupils with enhanced needs on the autism spectrum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the SEN Learning Manager and SENCO in providing learning support for targeted pupils
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized learning plans
- Provide one-to-one support to pupils with enhanced needs
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and pupils to ensure a smooth and efficient learning process
Requirements:
- Experience working with vulnerable/challenged/challenging children and young people
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and pupils
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced learning environment
