Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • SCO System Management: Oversee the operation of the SCO system to guarantee that planned work is executed flawlessly, minimizing disruptions and ensuring safety standards are met.
  • Planned Outages and Shutdowns: Lead and manage the entire process of planned outages and shutdowns, ensuring minimal disruption and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Method Statement Reviews: Conduct thorough reviews of method statements to ensure all work is carried out according to the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
  • Client Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for the water utility, providing regular updates, building confidence, and ensuring that the client's needs and concerns are addressed promptly.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all activities are compliant with safety regulations, giving the client confidence in our ability to manage complex shutdowns under scrutiny.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate with all stakeholders involved, ensuring that everyone is informed and aligned with the shutdown process.
  • Presentation Skills: Prepare and deliver presentations to the client and senior leadership team.
Requirements
  • Strong Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively liaise with clients and stakeholders.
  • Operational Experience: Proven experience in managing planned outages, shutdowns, and site operations.
  • Project Management Skills: Excellent project management skills, with a focus on safety and compliance.
  • High-Pressure Situations: Experience in dealing with high-pressure situations and maintaining client confidence.
  • Presentation Skills: Competence in preparing and delivering presentations to clients.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the water industry is a plus, but not required.
