We are seeking an experienced Energy Engineer to join our rapidly growing ESG team at Staycity Aparthotels. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our energy management initiatives and contributing to our goal of reducing energy consumption across our properties.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Energy Manager in identifying and implementing energy efficiency opportunities across our portfolio of properties.
- Monitor energy consumption data to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to reduce energy waste.
- Liaise with local operational and maintenance teams to increase energy efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with external contractors to implement energy efficiency projects and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Develop and maintain energy efficiency guidance and procedures to ensure consistency across our properties.
- Provide regular reporting on energy efficiency performance at the estate, building, and energy service level.
- Interact with and improve Building Management Systems to aid energy efficiency and reduce energy consumption.
- 3-5 years of experience in energy management with a focus on building services and control.
- Experience in domestic hot water generation, heating ventilation, and air conditioning.
- Experience with various building management system controls and associated hardware and software.
- Extensive knowledge of the latest energy design and operation technologies.
- Extensive knowledge of building and energy standards.
- Good knowledge of carbon management and accounting.
- Ability to operate effectively in a team atmosphere within a fast-paced development schedule.
- Strong communication skills and fluency in verbal and written English.
- Good practical experience in the building services environment.
