We are currently seeking talented Electromagnetic Engineers at various career stages to join our team.

Position Overview:
Role: EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) Test Engineer
Location: Site-based
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Key Responsibilities:
As an EMC Test Engineer, you will be tasked with:
  • Conducting EMC testing on a range of components to support both existing and new deterrent systems.
  • Designing and implementing unique test plans for experimental and developmental products.
  • Performing EMC testing on standard consumer equipment intended for use in sensitive environments.
  • Conducting EMF surveys across various settings, from small labs to large facilities.

Essential Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates with:
  • Experience in setting up and executing all types of EMC/EMF tests.
  • The ability to follow established test plans and datasheets with appropriate guidance.
  • Skills in documenting and interpreting test results and preparing comprehensive reports.
  • A solid understanding of relevant test standards and product technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities.

Desirable Experience:
Preferred candidates will have:
  • Experience leading simple test programs, managing project status, and ensuring report accuracy.
  • A background in electrical or electronic engineering.
  • Prior experience in a testing laboratory, particularly with spectrum analyzers.

Key Skills:
Successful candidates will possess:
  • A degree or HNC/NVQ Level 3 in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of Electromagnetic Engineering, even with a different STEM qualification.
  • Experience in Electromagnetic systems and EMC/EMF testing.
